[GAP Forum] Computation of Exponent of Pc element

Dear GAP Forum,

I'm confused with the method used for computing Exponent
of Pc element. Can anyone help me in defining what does it
actually mean? and how it is computed in GAP for pcgs.

I'm specifically interested in finite-permutation groups with the
length of pcgs starting from 1.
For further clarification I'm specifically talking about the method
*ExponentsOfPcElementPermGroup
*defined in lib/pcgsperm.gi.
