[GAP Forum] Semidirect Product of C_2^3 and A_7

Dear Mana,

by comparing orders of A_7 and Aut(C_2^3)=GL(3,2), the simple group A_7 
can only act trivially on C_2^3.
Hence, the group is just 
DirectProduct(ElementaryAbelianGroup(8),AlternatingGroup(7));

Is this really what you want?
