[GAP Forum] G2(3) directly from OctaveAlgebra(GF(3))

Dear Forum,
                     I was wondering if it is possible to recover the group
G2(3) directly from the octonion algebra O:=OctaveAlgebra(GF(3)). I’ve
tried to use End(GF(3),O) and then select the bijective maps that respect
the multiplication, but it seems to hard for GAP. Is there any way to
construct the automorphism group of an algebra?
